The objective of the Greater Cornwall Chamber of Commerce is to promote the civic, economic, social welfare and progress of the people of the greater Cornwall area. Any who share these objectives are are welcome to join - you don't have to be a local business person!



West Point Women's Club

The West Point Women's Club is an organization serving the United States Military Academy, West Point and the surrounding communites.  Comprised completely of volunteers, this group generates monies through a variety of fundraising activities that go directly into our Outreach/Scholarship fund. 

Food Bank of the Hudson Valley


The Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, located in Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY is part of the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York in Latham, NY and a member of America's Second Harvest.

The Food Bank distributes food to over 330 feeding programs from its 55,000 square foot warehouse in the Hudson Valley.  

Hudson Highlands Nature Museum

hudsonhighlandslogoEstablished in 1959, the Museum has grown into an outstanding local provider of nature education experiences in the Hudson Valley for youth. Its mission is to develop responsible caretakers of the natural world through its special focus on environmental education. It uses its living collections of native animals, natural habitats and trails to present a wide variety of programs for people of all ages at its two locations.

Cornwall Garden Club

The Cornwall Garden Club was oganized for the benefit of Cornwall and particularly for resident with a deep appreciation and love for and interest in gardening.  The Garden Club encourages learing the lore of gardening, horticulture, design and flower arranding.  Additionally, the club aids in conserving the natural flora, cooperates in beautifying public grounds.

Boy Scouts Troop 118

Scouts2009LogoTroop 118, Cornwall, NY was rechartered in January, 1980. Troop 118 is sponsored by the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, which has been instrumental in the success of the Troop, providing a meeting place, as well supporting our program. Several of the 44 Scouts who have reached the rank of Eagle Scout over the years have completed Eagle Scout Service Projects in support of the Church.

Scouts from Troop 118 have performed hundreds of man hours of community service in support of many organizations and communities, including the Towns of Cornwall, Salisbury Mills, and Blooming Grove, the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson, as well as Black Rock Forest and The Museum of the Hudson Highlands.

Founded in 1999, the Cornwall Historical Society has made considerable progress, gaining nearly 150 members and establishing a headquarters and museum in the Cornwall Town Hall, thanks to the cooperation of the Supervisor and the Town Board.

Cornwall Lions

Since 1932, the Cornwall Lions have provided community leadership in many areas of civic need.  The proceeds of the club's many fundraising projects go to the Cornwall Lions Club Community Service Fund.  Club members then decide at meetings where the money is needed most with a special emphasis toward funding organizations and needy people - particularly those with special needs in sight, hearing and diabetes.
